Dental Implant Restoration

Caring for the Teeth on Your Implants

What Are Dental Implant Restorations?

An implant restoration is the part of an implant you see and chew with: the crown, bridge, or set of teeth attached to the implant. Once your implant has healed, your custom restoration is attached to it, usually with a small connector called an abutment. Dr. Awad places and restores implants here in our office, so the same doctor plans your implant and the teeth that go on it. Each restoration is custom-made to fit your bite and match the color and shape of your surrounding teeth.

If you already have an implant, we can check it and help care for it. When a crown on an implant is chipped or worn, or a crown or connector has come loose, we’ll explain what we see and talk through your options for repairing or replacing it.

Like natural teeth, implant restorations need daily brushing, flossing, and regular checkups. We’ll check your implant and restoration at your visits and let you know if anything needs attention.

Benefits of Dental Implant Restorations

Made for Everyday Chewing

Your restoration is shaped to fit your bite, so it’s designed to feel comfortable when you eat and speak.

Care That Continues

Implant restorations need care, just like natural teeth. With daily brushing and flossing and regular checkups, we can keep an eye on your implant and restoration over time.

Designed to Look Natural

Each crown, bridge, or set of teeth is custom-made to match the color and shape of your smile.

Why Trust St. Johns Smile Co?

Because Dr. Awad places and restores implants here, your plan is made with your final teeth in mind from the first visit. We start with an exam and, when it helps, a 3D scan, then explain your options in plain language before anything is made. Your restoration is designed around your bite first, then matched to your smile.

As a family-owned practice, we focus on long-term relationships, and we’ll help you care for your implant at your regular checkups.
