Replacing a Full Arch of Teeth, Step by Step
What Is Full-Arch Dentistry?
Full-arch dentistry replaces all of the teeth in your upper jaw, lower jaw, or both. It may be an option if you’ve lost most of your teeth, or if severe decay, gum disease, or damage means your remaining teeth can’t be saved. A custom set of replacement teeth is held in place by dental implants in the jaw. We offer two types: fixed teeth that stay in place and are removed only by the dentist, and snap-on implant dentures that you take out for cleaning.
The goal is to help you chew, speak, and smile more comfortably. Dr. Awad places the implants and restores them with your new teeth here in our office. Every full-arch plan is different, so we’ll walk you through what yours could involve, how many visits it may take, and what it costs before you decide.
Full-arch treatment is a big decision. We’ll give you time to ask questions, talk it over with your family, and decide what’s right for you.
Benefits of Full-Arch Dentistry
Easier Chewing and Speaking
Teeth held by implants are designed to feel steady, which can make it easier to bite, chew, and speak than with missing teeth or a loose denture.
Planned Around Your Bite
Your new teeth are planned around your bite, so chewing forces are shared across the whole arch. A balanced bite can also help protect any natural teeth in your opposite jaw from uneven wear.
Designed to Look Natural
Your replacement teeth are custom-designed in shape and shade to suit your face and smile.

Why Trust St. Johns Smile Co?
Full-arch treatment takes careful planning, and we don’t rush it. We start with an exam and a 3D scan so we can see the bone and explain your options in plain language. Your plan is built around your health, your bite, and what matters most to you, whether that’s chewing comfortably or no longer worrying about a denture that slips.
As a family-owned practice, we get to know you, and we’ll explain each step along the way. If dental visits make you nervous, tell us. We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral conscious sedation, and we’ll talk through whether either one is a good fit for your treatment.
