I googled for Dentists near me and found St. John Smile Co. (Andrew Awad, DMD; Stephanie Labib, DMD, MS). They had excellent reviews so I decided to give them a try. I had my first visit today and was certainly not disappointed. First of all, what a beautiful facility. That says a lot to me. Wonderfully provisioned and inviting. Clean and pristine in every sense of the word, incorporating all the latest and necessary technology. I was examined by Dr. Stephanie. What a kind and caring human being. Very gentle, supportive, and encouraging! While I need a lot of work, everything was all laid out for me in their Treatment Plan, which is certainly affordable with all the available payment options. I will definitely recommend them to all my family members. Based on what I have seen and experienced so far, I don’t know why everyone who lives in this area doesn’t make them their Family Dentists. What a godsend! I can’t wait for them to restore my smile! 3/10/26 I thought I would post an update. Since my initial evaluation, I have had a deep cleaning and a crown replacement, in accordance with my treatment plan. Both were done by Dr. Awad. He was incredible, so kind and caring. Always asking me if I was doing okay. After the procedures, I experienced no residual pain. And my teeth look and feel great, especially after the cleaning. He is fantastic! Again, I cannot more highly recommend St. John Smile Co. 9/17/26 Well, I just had a routine cleaning that was scheduled for September. Time flies when you have a great Dentist to go to. This time my cleaning was performed by Meagan. I know it is just a cleaning right, but there can be good experiences and bad experiences. Mine was a great one! And my teeth and my gums feel so much better! Meagan worked quickly and efficiently, but I never got the sense I was getting a rushed job. She was kind and pleasant, and always made sure I was doing okay! I just have to say this. If you live in the Nocatee area and you are not going to the St. John Smile Co. and Dr. Awad, frankly, you need to ask yourself why not! I needed two crowns on my upper front teeth, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. Dr. Awad took his time carefully detailing and perfecting my crowns, and he was very very accommodating to every adjustment I requested. The final results were phenomenal. The crowns fit perfectly, feel great (from day 1!), and look amazing. Even though they are on my two front teeth, they look so natural that it’s very difficult (I might even argue impossible) to tell they are crowns. I also had my teeth cleaned with Meghan! She was so lovely. She did an amazing job cleaning my teeth and was gentle but also extremely thorough. 10/10 experience from start to finish. My 5 year old daughter had some cavities that needed to be addressed today. Coming to her appointment she way very nervous but was trying to be brave. Dr. Awad made sure she was comfortable and talked her through everything. A visit that could be very intimidating for a 5 year old was ultimately enjoyable and she left knowing that the dentist office isn’t a scary place. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. I usually approach the dentist with the same level of enthusiasm most people reserve for a tax audit or a surprise colonoscopy. My dental anxiety was so high I used to need a pep talk just to look at a toothbrush. But then I found St. Johns Smile Co., and my entire worldview shifted. First of all, let’s talk about the vibe. You walk in and are immediately hit with the "Jenny and Eliana Experience" at the front desk. They are so warm and welcoming that for a second, I thought I’d accidentally walked into a high-end spa or a very organized family reunion. Jenny is basically the gatekeeper to happiness, and Eliana has a way of making you feel like the most important person in Nocatee the moment you step through the door. Now, to the "Dynamic Duo"—Dr. Andrew Awad and Dr. Stephanie Labib. Here is the thing about these two: a lot of people can go to school and learn how to fix a tooth, but you can’t teach the level of genuine integrity they have. I’ve had the "behind-the-scenes" look at their character when the scrubs are off and the dental drills are put away, and let me tell you—their kindness isn't a "customer service" act. It’s who they are at their core. If you see them out in the wild (at a grocery store or a restaurant), they are the exact same compassionate, honest, and humble humans you see in the office. Speaking of "arrogance"—I saw one weird review mentioning that. I can only assume that person accidentally walked into a different building, because Dr. Andy is quite possibly the most "un-arrogant" person on the planet. He’s the guy who will sit there and explain a 3D scan of your teeth (which, by the way, is some straight-up NASA-level tech) until you actually understand it, rather than just rushing you through to get to the next chair. The clinical team is equally legendary. Kayla and Nicole are like the special ops of dental care. Nicole is a literal saint for people with anxiety; she’s gentle, attentive, and has the "calming aura" of a yoga instructor. And Kayla? Attentive, efficient, and makes the whole process feel like a breeze. I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting Jenny, and the consistency of "good vibes" in this office is honestly suspicious. Do they put something in the air? (Actually, Barbara mentioned it’s fragrance-free for those with sensitivities, which is just another level of "we thought of everything.") A few highlights for the skeptics: The Tech: They have 3D imaging that lets you see your teeth on your phone. I now have a digital copy of my molars. Do I need it? No. Is it the coolest thing I own? Yes. The Comfort: There are TVs on the ceiling. You can literally zone out and watch your favorite show while they do the heavy lifting. It’s the only time in my adult life I’ve been told to "just lie there and watch TV" without feeling guilty about it. The Pricing: For a place this high-tech and modern, they are incredibly fair and transparent. No "money grab" vibes here—just honest healthcare. To the people leaving 1-star reviews: I truly hope you find the peace you’re looking for, but it clearly isn't because of the service here. For everyone else: if you’re looking for a "forever dental home" where you’re treated like family by people who actually live out the values they preach, this is it. I’d give them 20 stars if Google would let me, but for now, 5 stars and a glowing recommendation will have to do. Go see Andy and Stephanie. Dr. Andy's,modern day approach to dental hygiene and oral care; is like no other practice that I've come across. Upon leaving my mouth felt fresh and absolutely rejuvenated.
